The three trims that comprise the Volvo XC60 gas-engined lineup are the Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription. However, with a choice between the T5 turbocharged four-pot (250 hp/258 lb-ft) or the twin-charged T6 (316 hp/295 lb-ft), there are a total of six configurations. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the only shifter available to the SUV. Front-wheel drive is standard with the T5, though all-wheel-drive can be opted on. The T6 cannot be paired with FWD.

The entry-level model is equipped with LED headlights and daytime running lights, with 18-inch wheels nestled within the arches. The cabin is dressed in high-quality leather upholstery and equipped with standard comfort features like dual-zone climate control and power front seats. A panoramic sunroof makes the spacious interior feel even airier, while forward collision avoidance, rear cross-traffic alert, and a host of other standard safety features ensure that all occupants are kept safe. Entertainment is accessed by interacting with the nine-inch touchscreen, which comes programmed with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. On upper trims, you get more advanced features like quad-zone climate control, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, SiriusXM, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, with even more available on the options list.
