The 2022 Toyota Corolla lineup includes gas and hybrid models, all of which are front-wheel drive and feature a CVT - except for the SE and SE Apex Edition which can both be had with a manual.
The base model comes with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 139 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque that is sent through 15-inch steel wheels. A seven-inch touch display manages the impressive infotainment system, while standard LED headlights light the way ahead. The LE model boasts wheels one size bigger and automatic climate control, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment display keyless entry, and a sunroof option. On the Hybrid LE, the 15-inch alloys remain, and the engine is supplemented with two electric motors for total outputs of 121 hp/105 lb-ft.
The SE is the first in the range to come with the 2.0-liter engine and its 169 hp/151 lb-ft output. It gets upgraded headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, Special Dark Gray Metallic styling accents, sports seats, a leather steering wheel, and a twin-exit exhaust. The SE 6MT gets a six-speed manual transmission, push-button start, and a power sunroof, while the SE Nightshade Edition builds on the regular SE with numerous black styling accents, many of which replace the gray ones on said regular SE. The XLE reverts to the smaller engine but still gets a sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, a faux leather interior, heated front seats, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The top XSE trim gets Dark Gray Metallic accents so that you can tell it has the bigger engine, along with 18-inch alloys, a power-adjustable seat for the driver, and a twin-exit exhaust. The Apex Edition trims, both with the bigger 2.0-liter engine, have sportier suspension tuning, black alloy wheels, a sport-tuned exhaust system, and a body kit.
The base L model Corolla isn't available with any options or packages, but the LE has access to two: The LE Convenience package and the LE Premium package. The former costs $1,150 and adds remote keyless entry, alloy wheels, push-button start, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, while the latter adds the same features along with a power tilt-and-slide sunroof for $2,000.
For the Hybrid model, there is the $500 blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert upgrade, or the new $1,525 Premium Interior Package, which adds SofTex and front-seat heating, as well as leather on the steering wheel and power driver's seat settings. There's also a $2,025 combination of these two bundles.
The SE gets access to a Premium package that costs $1,500 and adds blind-spot monitoring, color-coded heated wing mirrors, and a smart key with push-button start, along with a power moonroof. More expensive packages are available that add an eight-inch touchscreen or the bigger screen and a nine-speaker JBL system. These cost $2,265 and $2,865 respectively.
两个前修剪与两个包是可用的:the XLE/XSE Connectivity Package and the XLE/XSE Connectivity Package With Options. The first costs $1,715 and adds a nine-speaker JBL sound system, navigation, and Qi inductive wireless charging. The second costs $2,165 and builds on the first with adaptive LED headlights and ambient interior lighting. Pricing remains the same whichever model of the two you add it to. No packages are available for either of the Apex Edition models, although summer tires are available for these derivatives at no extra cost.
