2020 COPO Camaro John Force Edition Heads Chevy's Muscle Onslaught At SEMA

SEMA wouldn't be SEMA without a substantial presence from an all-American automaker like Chevrolet. And the Bowtie brand hasn't disappointed this year, rolling out an impressive array of concepts, racers, and special editions for the annual tuner expo in Las Vegas.

Headlining Chevy's SEMA display this year is the 2020 COPOCamaroJohn Force Edition, a special take on the drag-racing pony car honoring a 16-time NHRA straight-line racing champion. Decked out in a special silver and black livery, the one-off will be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale this January, with proceeds going to charity.

Joining the special factory drag racer is the new 2021Chevrolet Silverado HDCarhartt Special Edition that puts the concept showcased at SEMA in 2016 into production. Designed in partnership with the iconic work-ware brand, the Carhartt edition is based on the Silverado 2500 LTZ Crew Cab and features the Z71 Off-Road Package and special aesthetic upgrades inside and out – including black metallic paint with gold pinstripes, 20-inch wheels, tow hooks, black hood vents, body-color bumpers, and a smattering of Carhartt logos not only on the outside, but within the two-tone black and brown leather interior.

Chevy will also display both coupe and convertible versions ofthe new mid-engined Corvettesporting an array of accessories, and a specially upgradedCamaro LT1 convertible. There'll also be a murdered-out Silverado Midnight Edition, a show truck previewing some styling changes in store for the 2021ColoradoZR2, and a duo of Silverado and Colorado ZR2 race trucks. As we go to press, Chevrolet has yet to release photos and complete information on those vehicles mentioned here, but you can check out the John Force edition COPO Camaro and the Carhartt edition Silverado HD here as they prepare to open the doors at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
