Novitec Turns Ferrari F8 Tributo Into McLaren 765LT Fighter

It feels like yesterday when theFerrari F8 Tributodebuted. Ferrari'sreplacement for the 488 GTBwent on sale for the 2020 model year. It was widely assumed that the new296 GTB,法拉利的第一个V6混合超级跑车,replace the F8 Tributo, but Ferrari has confirmed it will remain in production so there's still plenty of life left in it yet. Perhaps Novitec also thought Ferrari was preparing to retire the F8 early because its latest creation would have been the perfect send-off for the mid-enigne supercar.

Novitec is no stranger to the F8 Tributo havingextracted nearly 800 hpfrom its sublime 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine last year, and now the German aftermarket tuner has given Ferrari's mid-engine masterpiece the widebody treatment.

The result is the tuner's most striking custom F8 Tributo yet. Meet the new Novitec N-Largo Ferrari F8 Tributo, which is limited to just 15 examples.

To make the F8 Tributo look even more menacing, Novitec has fitted a widebody kit that includes a slew of carbon fiber components optimized in a wind tunnel. Wider fenders extend the width of the F8 Tributo by 5.11 inches, giving the supercar even more presence. Larger air intakes also provide better cooling for the engine and rear brakes, while a prominent rear wing increases the downforce. Other modifications include a hood scoop that improves the airflow and a new front spoiler with side flaps. A set of sport springs lower the ride height by around 1.3 inches, resulting in sharper handling.

In stock form, the F8 Tributo's 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 generates an already-impressive 710 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic. By adding a high-performance stainless steel exhaust system and two plug-and-play modules that remap the injection and ignition and enhance the boost pressure control, Novitec has increased the output to 818 hp and 666 lb-ft of torque. This puts the F8 Tributo's power output on par with the 296 GTB. Impressively, this also means the F8 Tributo has more power than the mightyMcLaren 765LT.

These racy modifications enable the limited-edition supercar to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 211 mph. Novitec can also customize the interior with leather and Alcantara trim in any desired color or design. We don't know how much Novitec is charging for the new N-Largo, but considering its exclusivity and long list of modifications, it will carry a huge price premium over the standard F8 Tributo, which starts at around $276,000.
