With the hybrid A7 no longer available, the Audi A7 comes in three trim levels for the new model year. These include Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige, and all are powered by the same engine: a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 supplemented by a 48-volt mild hybrid system for outputs of 335 hp and 369 lb-ft. Power goes through the quattro all-wheel-drive system and is managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Starting with the base model, the A7 has LED exterior lights, a panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch wheels. Leather upholstery is standard from even the base model, while items such as a hands-free power tailgate, keyless entry, three-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and heated front seats with 12-way power adjustment are included across the range. Moving up to the Premium Plus sees more soft-touch surfaces, and the top-end model comes with four-zone climate control, soft-close doors, ventilated front seats, and heated perches in the back.
On-board tech is plentiful, with lane departure warning, forward collision warning, front and rear parking sensors, and cruise control as standard, while upper trims get a top-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and traffic jam assist. All models get a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. From the mid-range Premium Plus a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system replaces the standard ten-speaker unit.
As a luxury sedan, even the base trims come fairly well-stocked. Still, there are some customization options available, with the $2,300 Convenience Package adding Audi's phonebox with wireless charging, Audi side assist with pre sense rear, a heated steering wheel, a top-view camera with a 360-degree view, and adaptive cruise control with lane guidance. The Sl line Black Optic package costs $2,000 but is a worthy addition if you want 20-inch wheels in matte titanium finish, all-season tires, high-gloss black exterior accents, S line door sills, fender badges, exterior kit, and the sport suspension. This is available on the upper trims, too.
The Premium Plus trim gets access to the Executive Package, which retails for $1,750 and adds four-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, additional lumbar power adjustments for the front passenger, heating on the rear perches, and multi-color ambient lighting.
Prestige trims can be enhanced with the Luxury Package, priced at $2,750 - this adds individual contour front seats in Valcona/Milano leather with massage function and memory, and leather trim for the dash, armrests, and center console.
