The "Sickfish" has received upgrades, enhancing the original build from two decades ago.

Joe Rogan is known for many things, but his love for classic muscle cars is undeniable. HisChevrolet Camarois a tastefully built class act, and now we get to see his another, thanks to Shawn from AutotopiaLA - the ever-connoisseuroftasteful classic performance builds.

Shawn gave his friends at Roadster Shop in Illinois - the same peoplewho built the Camaro- a quick trip to experience Joe Rogan's jaw-dropping 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Nicknamed "Sickfish," this new version has some performance and structural updates from when the build was first introduced about 20 years ago.

The Roadster Shop's team made minimal changes to the exterior, only adding door latches. Designed by Chip Foose and built by Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides by Troy, the car's exterior remained untouched.

However, the shop made significant mechanical modifications. The entire floor and firewall were removed, integrating a custom chassis with a rear-mounted transaxle connected by a unique torque tube system. This provided more space and rigidity due to the unibody construction.

Under the hood, the car boasts a powerful Mercury SB4 7-liter LS7-based long block engine, generating an impressive 750 naturally aspirated horsepower. This engine can reach around 8,300 RPM, producing power and the classic muscle car sound. The in-house fabricated long tube headers lead to a three-inch stainless steel x-pipe and Borla mufflers.

The Sickfish 2.0 features Fox adjustable coilovers, providing a 2-inch lift for improved functionality. The Cuda's body and suspension have been modified to enable steering lock-to-lock, accommodating 22-inch HRE wheels (265s in the front and 295s in the rear). The interior showcases modern upgrades, including Recaro seats, digital panels, and carbon fiber parts..

While some neighbors may not appreciate the thunderous sound of the Mercury engine, as Shawn takes it for a spin, there's no denying that this Sickfish 2.0 Cuda is an absolute marvel. While we can only dream of amodern rendition of the Cuda, it's heartening to know that builds like these keep the name alive.
