2022 Volkswagen Taos Trims & Specs

There are three trims to choose from for the 2022 VW Taos, starting with the S and followed by the SE and SEL. All three models are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 158 hp and 184 lb-ft. Power is sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. AWD is available, paired to a seven-speed DSG.

The base model features manual air conditioning, six-way manually-adjustable front seats, automatic post-collision braking, intelligent crash response, and a 6.5-inch infotainment touchscreen with a four-speaker sound system. The SE adds luxuries such as an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, CloudTex upholstery, an eight-inch infotainment display, and wireless phone charging. The SEL adds a dual-zone climate system, leather seats, navigation, a premium sound system, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, and driver aids such as adaptive cruise control.
