The non-AMG E-Class lineup comprises the E350, E350 4MATIC, and the E450 4MATIC, with a choice of two engines being the primary differentiator between trim in the E-Class range. W350 models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder while a twin-turbo V6 displacing 3.0 liters is found in the E450, along with permanent all-wheel-drive. All trims are serviced by a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
Standard features across all models are inclusive of full LED front and rear lights and keyless entry as well as push-button start. Dual-zone climate control, 64-color ambient lighting, and multi-way power-adjustable seats are included in the list of features as well as a 12.3-inch central display that enables voice control, and navigation and the list is rounded off nicely with the inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Mercedes has a host of additional packages available for the E-Class range, which quickly sends the price of an E-Class soaring if you're too generous with your selection. A must-have would be the $2,250 Driver Assistance Package that adds an additional 14 features to the luxury sedan, notably including blind-spot assist, lane-keep assist and lane change assist as well as cross-traffic alert and route-based speed adaptation. For the exterior, four packages are available to choose from and this includes the AMG-derived Night Package that adds gloss black exterior accents and black-accented AMG wheels. For added luxury, opt for the $2,000 Premium Package that adds a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, Sirius XM functionality, a premium surround-sound Burmester sound system, heated front seats, and wireless charging.
