If the exterior didn't impress you, don't get your hopes up for the BMW M8 Coupe's interior: it looks too similar to other BMW M models. The conservative design is also more noticeable now that we've seen what BMW is capable of inside the new 7 Series and iX. There are hints that this is a performance model, such as the bucket seats and performance steering wheel, but rivals such as Mercedes-AMG go through greater effort to make their interiors feel more special. The material choices and built quality are superb, however, from the standard extended Merino leather to the carbon fiber inlays. The M8 is also fully stocked with equipment like a Harman Kardon sound system, power-adjustable M sports seats in front, and soft-close doors.
This grand tourer offers ample room for those privileged enough to sit in the front seats of the BMW M8. Taller passengers will have no time getting comfy thanks to 42.1 inches of legroom and 38.9 inches of headroom. The performance bucket seats up front offer a memory system for the driver's seat and power side bolsters. Newly available are M carbon bucket seats which look similar to those in the M4. They have integrated head restraints, illuminated badges, and high Alcantara side bolsters. These seats hold you in place firmly and add a welcome bit of drama to the interior, but the high bolsters do impede ingress and egress somewhat.
Unfortunately, there won't be any grand tour for those unfortunate enough to be squeezed into the back seat; there's a pitiful 29.5 inches of legroom, rendering the rear seats all but useless to anyone but the smallest of adults and children. We recommend using the back seats for extra storage.

So, the interior of the BMW M8 might not be the most inspiring, but it sure is refined and comfortable, and those characteristics are helped along by a fine choice of materials and trims. There are also some attractive M8 interior colors to choose from. Trim options on offer include Ash Grain Grey-Metallic Wood and Carbon Fiber. Individual Piano Black Finish and Ash Black Silver Wood are $1,080 options.
The new M carbon bucket seats with their high Alcantara bolsters cost $4,500.
Regardless of how it is specced, the M8 cabin's materials are carefully chosen, and everything feels solidly put together.
It might not afford its back seat passengers a ton of space, but luckily there is decent amount of trunk space in the BMW M8. Pop the trunk lid, and you are greeted by a decent 14.8 cubic feet of room. For a luxury sports car of this nature, that is generous and provides enough space for a set of golf clubs. The interior features a glovebox, a shallow center armrest storage bin, some door pockets, and four cup holders.

M8的黑暗和谦逊的内部持有many secrets. This tech-packed cabin features leather-bound luxuries such as heated and ventilated power seats with a heated multi-function M sport steering wheel and armrest. A Live Cockpit digital display sits behind the steering wheel, and you get small niceties such as an engine start/stop button, remote engine start, wireless phone charging, and comfort keyless access. The doors feature a soft-close function, and to cool you down on a hot summer's day, there's dual-zone automatic climate control. Driver assistance features include lane departure warning, frontal collision warning, and automatic city collision mitigation and braking. If you're willing to pay a bit more, you can add the brand's Active Driving Assistant Pro with camera/radar-based systems.
The newly standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display in the M8 runs BMW's iDrive7.0 software and is controlled via steering wheel controls, a rotary controller, and voice recognition. This system features Bluetooth streaming, SiriusXM radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto integration. Sound is channeled through a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. This infotainment system is easy to use and intuitive, even for beginners.
For $3,400, you can upgrade the Harman Kardon unit for the 16-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system. It's got 1,400 watts of power and produces clear sound that any audiophile would appreciate.
The M8 has 14.8 cubic feet of trunk space.
There's space for four adults, although it should be noted that space in the back seat is poor.
There are four cup holders in total.
