2022 BMW M5 Sedan Trims & Specs

You can choose between the regular M5 sedan and the more focused M5 Competition. The standard M5 has a twin-turbocharged V8 producing 600 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. It sends the power to an AWD system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. BMW's M xDrive AWD system is rear-biased, but you can detach the front axle entirely for full-on sideways action.
