A full redesign brings the exterior of the Genesis G90 in line with the rest of the Genesis lineup. The front bumper is less fussy and features the crest grille and typical Genesis two-strip LED headlights. It manages to stand out from the crowd and be genuinely distinctive without having to resort to over-the-top styling cues to accomplish it. Classy lower-body chrome trim is applied to the sides and the rear bumper, with dual full-width light bars running across the trunk lid. The base car runs on 20-inch alloy wheels, while the flagship gets 21-inch items and copper-colored brake calipers. Other than that, both trims are identical on the outside, with the same panoramic sunroof and power-folding side mirrors fitted as standard.
The exterior dimensions of the Genesis G90 are similar to those of its rivals and with an overall length of 207.7 inches, it's right in the middle of the executive-sedan class in terms of size. Other dimensions include a wheelbase of 125.2 inches, a body width of 76 inches without the mirrors, and a height of 58.7 inches. Minimum ground clearance is 5.8 inches.
Curb weights start at 4,861 pounds for the 3.5T and 5,192 lbs for the 3.5T Supercharger.

There are nine exterior colors for the Genesis G90, and all of them cost extra. Seven of these cost $575 each and these are Maui Black, Vik Black, Uyuni White, Makalu Gray, Savile Silver, Hallasan Green, and Capri Blue. Two shades are matte finishes for $1,500 each, and they are Verbier White Matte and Makalu Gray Matte.
Among a sea of whites, blacks, and grays, we like how the deep Hallasan Green stands out a little, but is still low-key enough to fit the luxury image.
The two matte finishes - Verbier White Matte and Makalu Gray Matte - are the most expensive hues at $1,500 each.
Both trims come with a standard tilting/sliding power panoramic sunroof.
The base trim has 20-inch alloys and the flagship has 21-inch wheels.
