775马力Shelby F-150 Super Snake Ready To Slay Supercars

Though Shelby American is known for Mustangs, it has a nice lineup of Ford pickup trucks that also haul ass on the street. Its latest, the 2021 Shelby F-150 Super Snake, made its debut at in California at Monterey Car Week. There's a four-door available, but the two-door Sport is what will tempt those looking to get anold-school Ford Lightning, as opposed to the future one.

Shelby puts a supercharger on theFord F-150's Coyote 5.0-liter V8 to deliver 775 horsepower. With standard 4WD, Shelby says it will get to 60 mph in 3.45 seconds and complete the 0-100 mph dash in 8.3 seconds.

"Shelby Americanforever changed the perception of performance beginning with the Shelby Cobra, the Shelby version of the Ford Mustang pony car and then the muscle truck," said Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American. "The 2021 model year Shelby F-150 Super Snake truck was created with that same DNA that made those vehicles so successful over the past six decades."

Shelby partnered with all the names you know and love on the Super Snake, including Fox, Borla and Ford Performance doing the shocks, exhaust, and hi-po brakes. It also installs its own 22-inch wheels and performance street tires, as well as the ground effects, stripes and hood. Inside buyers get more badges and stripes, including the numbered Shelby plaque.

Each vehicle is documented in the official Shelby Registry, and the trucks come with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, including powertrain. Shelby is making 600 total (300 of the two-door and 300 of the four-door), offered through select Tuscany and Ford dealers across North America.

With all of the above and in two-door guise, it's what Shelby calls the F-150 Super Snake Sport, which retails for $105,708 including the truck which Shelby will source for you. However, you can get less well-equipped variants without the supercharger for $90,790, including the price of a four-door 2021 Ford F-150 XLT or with the supercharger but lacking the lowered street suspension for $98,690.
