Four trims are on offer in the 718 Boxster range, but telling them apart is fairly tricky. Fortunately, different colors for brakes and exhaust tips help. The base and Boxster T models come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer-four with 300 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque while the Boxster S gets a 2.5-liter turbo with 350 hp and 309 lb-ft. The range-topper is the GTS 4.0 and, as the name suggests, it comes with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six generating 394 hp and the same torque as the S. The available PDK automatic increases this torque figure to 317 lb-ft. This model is easily differentiated by its unique fascias, but all models come with bi-xenon headlights and an adaptive rear wing. Standard features on all models also extend to a six-speed manual transmission, a six-speaker sound system, and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay but no Android Auto. The Boxster T and GTS also feature some slight performance differences, but all models handle like they're on rails.
