2023 Audi S5 Sportback Exterior and Dimensions

The S5 Sportback's exterior is understated but with enough flourishes added to mark it out as a sportier model. Matrix-design LED headlights and taillights with dynamic turn signals are standard, and the Prestige has Audi's LED/laser headlights in addition to animations for front and rear lights. A power panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, powered and heated side mirrors, a subtle decklid spoiler, quad oval exhaust outlets, and 19-inch 5-double-arm alloy wheels with summer tires are standard. On the Premium Plus and Prestige, these wheels can be upgraded to 5-twin-spoke 20-inch wheels as part of the Black Optic Plus Package and these trims get standard auto-dimming and power-folding side mirrors. This package also blacks out all the exterior trim, including the front bumper's air-intake surrounds, mirrors, window surrounds, grille, exhaust tips, and all the badging. These two trims have access to the S Sport Package too, which adds red brake calipers to the mix.

With the S5 Sportback's length of 187.3 inches, a width of 79.9 inches with mirrors included, and a height of 54.5 inches, it is fractionally shorter and narrower than the sedan and a noticeable 1.7 inches lower. It is stretched over a 111.2-inch wheelbase, which is 0.2 inches up on the sedan. The dimensions of the Audi S5 Sportback put it within an inch or two of the 4 Series in all directions.

The substantial 3,925-pound curb weight is still lower than the M440i xDrive's portly 4,169 lbs and more or less on par with the C-Class sedan.
