There are three trims to choose from in the Macan lineup including a base model, an S, and a GTS. All models use the same seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power to an intelligent AWD system, but the engines and other drivetrain components differ. The Macan uses a turbocharged inline-four that produces 261 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Macan S and GTS use the same 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine but with different outputs. In the mid-spec S, it produces 375 hp and 383 lb-ft, while the GTS gets 434 hp and 406 lb-ft. The base Macan uses a fixed suspension setup, while the S and GTS get an adaptive suspension. The GTS also adds an air suspension setup to enhance its abilities further.
The Macan models are nearly identical when it comes to features. All models get cruise control, lane departure warning, hill control, auto-dimming side, rearview mirrors, and park assist front and rear. On the luxury side, it has a power tailgate, eight-way power-adjustable heated front seats, keyless entry with a push-button start, an analog clock, and a 10.9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, and a ten-speaker sound system. The GTS model gets model-specific alloys, a sport exhaust system, and GTS seats. It also has GTS logos housed in the tachometer and embroidered into the front and rear seats.
