2023 Z Exterior

As retro-inspired designs go, the new Z's must be regarded as a success, as it manages to recall styling cues from the Zs of half a century ago without devolving into a cobbled-together retro-pastiche mess. The contrasting Super Black roof gives it a visor look, with only the Gun Metallic, Black Diamond Pearl, and Rosewood Metallic Zs being one color and not getting a two-tone finish, while the headlights, the semicircular DRLs, and the gaping maw of an air intake in the front bumper evoke the 240Z in a modernized interpretation. All trims have LED headlights, LED double-ring 3D-effect taillights, a Katana-blade roof finisher, and dual exhausts. The Performance and Proto Spec get turn signals in the side mirrors, as well as lip and rear spoilers. The Sport's five-twin-spoke alloys are black, and its wheels are 18 inches in diameter, while the five-twin-spoke Rays wheels on the Performance are 19 inches. The Proto Spec gets these Rays wheels in a Bronze finish, and it also exclusively comes with yellow-and-black paintwork and yellow brake calipers.

Dimensions

尼桑Z的尺寸几乎是identical to those of the old 370Z with which it shares its basic structure and design hard points, with the same wheelbase of 100.4 inches, width of 72.6 inches without the mirrors, and height of 51.8 inches. It's longer by almost five inches at 172.4 inches due to different front and rear bumpers adding a bit of length, but the body is essentially the same size as before. It stands to reason then, that weight will go up due to all the turbo plumbing, additional features and, presumably, some extra reinforcements to meet modern safety legislation. The new Z is at least 150 pounds heavier than the 370Z, with the manual-transmission Sport being the lightest at 3,486 pounds. The Performance and Proto Spec in automatic guise are the heaviest, both at 3,602 lbs.
