One of the best three-row SUVs, the Hyundai Palisade returns with the same lineup of trims for 2022. Each model makes use of a 3.8-liter V6 that sends 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque to your choice of front or all four wheels. Managing the gears is a smooth eight-speed automatic gearbox. The range comprises the SE, SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy trims.
Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and daytime running lights. A power liftgate is available to upper trims. The entry-level model is upholstered in cloth and gets a comprehensive safety suite comprising blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The eight-inch touchscreen grants access to smartphone integration, HD Radio, and Bluetooth audio streaming through the six-speaker sound system.
Available features include heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, a power driver's seat with memory, automatic dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, a larger infotainment screen, wireless charging, a surround-view camera, and a head-up display.
As inclusive as the various trims are, there are still a few ways to customize your Palisade. There are two large packages for the SEL. The Convenience Package ($2,400) comprises 20-inch alloy wheels, an auto-leveling rear suspension, wireless phone charging, and front parking sensors, to name just a few features. Meanwhile, the Premium Package ($3,400) builds on the Convenience Package with leather upholstery, driver-seat memory, a larger touchscreen, navigation, a heated steering wheel and second-row seats, and an eight-way power passenger seat. The SEL also allows the choice between second-row captain's chairs or a three-seater bench.
Some standalone options include a tow hitch ($475), and a Cargo Package ($225), which includes a cargo tray, net, and blocks.
