The Traverse is available in a variety of formats in order to try to satisfy buyers of all types. The High Country is in stark contrast to the base L model, with its copious swathings of leather while the L gets fabric upholstery and only two color options. In between, you can get a number of features ranging from heated front seats only, to ventilated fronts and heated rear seats. The top trims also have access to an eight-inch touchscreen with navigation, whereas base models get a smaller seven-inch. You can have a pick of wheel sizes too, with 18-inch variants standard and 20s available. In the middle of the range, there’s a 2.0-liter turbo engine option which has more torque than the standard 3.6-liter V6, but all models get a nine-speed automatic. There’s also a choice of either front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive on most of the trims. Various safety aids and convenience features are also dotted around the lineup of models, with many of the optional features on certain models coming standard on higher trims.
