The third option is Dark Auburn semi-aniline leather.

Brushed alloy and wood trim are available depending on the trim. Overall it's a smorgasbord of fine materials that makes even the most entry-level of hip hop stars feel like a royal.

If there's one thing this SUV has in spades, it's trunk volume. The Cadillac Escalade ESV's trunk space spans a substantial 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row, which is enough space to carry a life-sentence worth of MDMA. The standard Escalade with its 25.5 cubes doesn't even come close. From there, you can expand cargo capacity to a substantial 94.1 cubes by folding the 60/40 split third row, or 142.8 cubes when the second row is folded. A power-release function for the second row and power folding for the third row makes the task even easier.

Small items can be stored in the sizable glove box, a deep center console storage bin, and second-row seatback pockets. There are cup holders for seven, a storage nook flanking the shifter, an overhead console, and Cadillac even offers a refrigerator in the front center console for those looking for some afternoon delight.

The Cadillac Escalade ESV might have a hefty price tag, but there's a good reason for it; this thing is packed with features. In base form, the Escalade ESV features luxury amenities such as ambient interior lighting, heated front and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and tri-zone automatic climate control. At this level, both front seats are eight-way power-adjustable. Techies need not worry as many cutting-edge tech features are scattered all over the interior, including an augmented reality system, integrated Wi-Fi, wireless phone charging, and a 14.2-inch digital cluster display.

All trim levels also come standard with driver assistance features such as rear pedestrian alert, forward collision alert, front and rear park assist, HD surround vision, and lane keep assist with lane departure warning. Higher in the range, exclusive features such as 16-way power driver and front passenger seats, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and enhanced automatic parking assist become standard.

Technology lives comfortably alongside luxury in the Escalade ESV's advanced cabin. Ahead of the driver is a gorgeous 16.9-inch OLED color information display, a 7.2-inch control panel, and a 14.2-inch digital gauge cluster. Although it all looks a little intimidating at first, the system is pleasantly intuitive and the touchscreen responds quickly to inputs.

The system packed with features. Even the base model enjoys wireless operation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you won't need to fumble with messy cables to connect your device. It also comes with SiriusXM with 360L and a six-month Platinum trial subscription, Bluetooth, HD Radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The standard sound system is an AKG Studio unit with 19 speakers, but further up in the range, there is an AKG Studio Reference sound system with a remarkable 36 speakers. This system sounds best when playing Hertz by Amyl And The Sniffers. The Cadillac Escalade ESV's top trims also have a rear-seat entertainment system with dual 12.6-inch touchscreens, HDMI ports, USB ports, and Bluetooth headphones.
