The 2021 2 Series Coupe is available in four different trim levels with the 230i and M240i xDrive forming the basis, available in both RWD and xDrive AWD trim variants. The 230i is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 248 hp. Power is sent via a six-speed manual transmission when in RWD guise, while an eight-speed auto serves the AWD version. The 230i features 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights, power-adjustable front seats, as well as dual-zone climate control, and front and rear parking sensors. A 6.5-inch infotainment display is also standard with SiriusXM satellite radio. M240i derivatives get a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 335 hp. The exterior deletes the foglights and adds a more aggressive body kit and rear spoiler, as well as a sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The base 230i can be specced with the $4,200 M Sport package, which adds the M240i's appearance elements, as well as keyless entry, and park distance control. Other optional packages include the $1,700 Convenience Package, which adds keyless access, ambient lighting, and lumbar support to the front seats. This package is exclusively available on the 230i twins as it becomes standard on the M240i. The $1,600 Premium Package is available for all trims and adds advanced navigation with a larger 8.8-inch screen, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Individual options such as Adaptive LED headlights, active cruise control, and parking assist are also available. RWD models get the no-cost option of a six-speed manual gearbox.
