The S6 lineup comprises threetrims in the form of the Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. All models in the lineup come with standard convenience features including matrix-design LED headlights, a power panoramic sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable steering column, and heated front seats. Tech and safety kit includes a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning. The mid-range Premium Plus adds a top-view camera system, adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, and more advanced interior lighting, while the range-topping Prestige comes with power soft-closing doors, intersection assist, a head-up display, and HD matrix-design LED headlights.
All versions of the S6 have the same 444-horsepower V6 that can propel this deceptively quick sedan to 60 mph in only 4.4 seconds. They also share quattro AWD and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Despite being generously equipped, the Audi S6 is still available with a number of packages. The base Premium is limited in its options, though, with the main one being the S6 Convenience package at $2,100. This adds several features from the Premium Plus like adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, Audi side assist, and the top-view camera. Here, the Black optic package goes for $750 and gives the S6 a stealthier look with 21-inch bi-color wheels, black mirror housings, and numerous high-gloss black exterior elements.
The Premium Plus has the same Black optic package but several more to choose from. There's the $2,500 S6 Design Edition package with its 21-inch wheels, flat-bottom steering wheel, Audi Sport design interior with red stitching, a black roof, and liquid dark chrome valence elements. However, to get this package, you also need to add the S Sport package ($4,000) and Audi Sport Express Red stitch package ($500). The S Sport package groups together all-wheel steering, red brake calipers, a sport exhaust, and a sport rear differential. The Audi Sport Express Red stitch package sounds like precisely what it is, which is red interior stitching and seat belts with red edging. The $1,850 Luxury package of the Premium Plus adds extended Valcona/Milano leather, individual contour front seats with ventilation and massage, and a memory system for the front passenger.
The Prestige shares all the Premium Plus model's options but can also be upgraded with a night vision assistant for $2,500 or the Bang & Olufsen 3D advanced sound system with 19 speakers for $4,900.
