What better occasion than at Rennsport Reunion 7?

Porsche is targeting a new record at Laguna Seca next month, but it's not the type of record you might think. Rennsport Reunion 7, the most popular gathering of Porsche enthusiasts and vehicles in the world, is back again for 2023 taking place next month from September 28th to October 1st atWeathertech Raceway Laguna Secain California. Set to feature one of the most eclectic groups of Porsche's ever assembled, the event will celebrate 75 years of Porsche and 60 years of the911while also looking to the future by showcasing theVision 357 Speedster, the 911 S/T, and even the bonkersMission X concept car.

保时捷希望这将是largest Porsche gathering ever assembled. Started in 2001 by Brian Redman and Porsche Cars North America's PR General Manager Bob Carlson, the event has ballooned over the years as the ultimate place to celebrate the brand's rich legacy in the US.

This year's event will also feature seven decades of on-track Porsche action complemented by the Esports Challenge finals, the finals of the third annualPorsche Classic Restoration Challenge, and the exceptionally exciting Porsche Tractor Race. That last one alone must be worth the price of admission.

"The special magic that has defined Rennsport over the decades is alive and well for this, the seventh Reunion," said Ayesha Coker, Vice President of Marketing for Porsche Cars North America. "We've teamed up with some of the biggest names in the Porsche community to guide the design of Rennsport 7 - to create a vibrant and welcoming event that'll aim to have something for everyone, from enthusiasts through to newcomers and one that's appropriate for the whole family, with plenty of space for everyone to sit down and relax as well as awesome activities, on and off the track."

Speaking of big names in the Porsche community, the people and racers attending are second to none, starting with members of the Porsche family, including Dr. Wolfgang Porsche. Over 50 racers will be in attendance as well, including legends like Mark Webber, Hurley Haywood, Jacky Ickx, Timo Bernhard, and Richard Attwood. Current works drivers from GTP and GTD are also going to show their stuff.

Featuring over 300 race entries and growing, it will be an event for the ages and certainly the place to be if you're a Porsche enthusiast at heart. Although this year's event won't feature alimited edition watch for the occasion, we imagine the on-track action will have spectators enthralled.
