Three landed, and met at a race track.

Thermal Club is an exclusive racetrack tucked away in inland California and surrounded by dream villas and garages. Members often arrive by helicopter to stay and drive their sports and supercars around the 5.1 miles of racetrack carved into the desert. It's incredibly exclusive and expensive and the perfect place for the latest official hypercar of the one percent to get a workout before delivery. That's just what happened to the first batch ofBugatti Divomodels commissioned through Bugatti Beverly Hills before being delivered to their new owners. It was a publicity stunt of the finest caliber and one that's left us with the spectacular photos and video you see below.

"To see these spectacular automobile works of art go from piece of paper to sitting here in front of me is a phenomenal feeling," says Tim O'Hara, General Manager Bugatti Beverly Hills." It was avery involved and lengthy processthat demanded our best skills and expertise. To deliver 4 of only 40 to be built in the world and see the project through fruition is deeply gratifying."

一个ll 40 are being built at the Atelier in Molsheim in the north-east of France, complete with Bugatti's now-legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine.

Bugatti's latest masterpiece sells for $5,800,000 apiece and is named after famed 1920s race car driver Albert Divo. And,in keeping with the name, the Divo loses some of its top speed for thesake of cornering ability. It's based on the Chiron but has extensive changes in the chassis design and bodywork to suit its new purpose as a track monster rather than an outright speed demon. Its top speed may have dropped to a mere, and limited, 236 mph over the Chiron, but the full 1,479 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque are still available to the driver. It's a phenomenal looking car, and we sincerely hope the new owners give them regular workouts at the track.
