BMW Group Shows Off Neue Klasse Grille Ahead of September 2 Debut

We expect the concept to get some high-tech components, making it a truly next-generation EV. According to earlier reports, this includes a new electronic control unit (ECU) dubbed 'Hand of God.' This is paired with a four-motor powertrain that has been called 'Heart of Joy.'

Besides all the technology and innovation, this concept's styling will be very important, especially if it is to inform that of the nextBMW 3 Series. BMW has come under fire for its controversial designs several times in recent years, and longtime fans of the brand will be hoping for something a little more classically beautiful, or at least a little more conventional. But we doubt they will get their wish. BMW's design language is intentionally disruptive, but this gives the brand more room to experiment, which is why each future car will haveits own interpretationof the iconic kidney grilles.
