The Carrera S adds a healthy increase in power and torque. This allows it to reach 60 mph in as little as 3.3 seconds, which means it can keep up with some serious machinery. Crucially, the Carrera S is the first model to come with the option of a seven-speed manual gearbox. It isn’t as quick as the PDK but makes the 911 even more involving to drive. The Carrera S shares most of its features with the normal Carrera but gets more leather on the seats, bigger 20”/21” wheels, and a torque-vectoring differential.
