The new T is the purist’s car in the lineup, so it comes with the 7-speed manual gearbox as standard, although you can still opt for the 8-speed PDK if you prefer. Extensive weight-saving measures include the deletion of the rear seat and the use of thinner glass and less sound-deadening, resulting in the lowest curb weight in the lineup at 3,254 pounds with the manual gearbox. It also gets various sporty accouterments as standard, including the Sport Chrono package (active suspension mounts, dash-mounted chronograph, launch control, steering-mounted drive-mode selector, tire-temperature display, and the Porsche Track Precision app), sport suspension, a sport exhaust, and larger 20”/21” alloy wheels.
