With almost 18 months' worth of ordersalready booked, there's a significant amount of hype surrounding theCadillac Celestiq. This Bentley and Rolls-Royce contender was reported to bear a $300,000price tag, but it appears that will be even pricier, as confirmed by none other than a high-ranking executive from the American luxury marque.

Standing as the most expensive electric vehicle based on GM's Ultium platform, that staggering starting price perfectly reflects Cadillac'sintentions to rivalBentley and Rolls-Royce. Buyers will be spoilt for choice with various materials, finishes, and features.

To create the ultimate personalized experience, Cadillac even offers the possibility of collaborating with customers to develop a custom paint color that truly represents their individuality - much like the Porsche 911 S/T'smost expensive option.

To elevate the customer experience further, Cadillac is introducing a concierge service specifically for Celestiq clients, allowing them to design their dream vehicle from anywhere in the world. This service will be housed in the upcoming Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, located on the tech center campus, with its grand opening scheduled for the upcoming summer.

While an official delivery date is yet to be announced, Tony Roma, the chief engineer, mentioned that production is slated to begin in December 2023 withpractically unlimited personalization options.
