There are five trim levels available in the Sentra range. These comprise the Sentra S, SV, SR, SR Turbo, and SL. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission is available on the S, SV, SR, and SL, with optional six-speed manual transmission on the S. A 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired with a CVT is present on the SR Turbo.
The S trim is extremely basic. It offers the bare minimum of safety and infotainment features, emphasizing affordability over comfort or performance. It has a rearview camera and Bluetooth with a seven-inch touchscreen display. The SV adds enough features to make it comparable to most entry-level competitors. Keyless entry and ignition, as well as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, are made standard and the upholstery gets a minor upgrade. The SR improves performance by changing to a sports body and upgrading to LED headlights. The interior also receives a minor upgrade again. The SR Turbo upsizes the wheels to 17-inches and upgrades the brakes and suspension to give it better performance on its turbocharged engine. The SL is the premium trim and offers better driver assistance and safety features as standard, along with a much more comfortable leather interior.
The Sentra offers a few minor appearance and comfort packages with a couple that offers more comprehensive changes. The Special Edition package available for the SV upgrades the wheels to 17-inch alloys and adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intelligent cruise control, heated front seats, and a power-sliding glass sunroof. This package costs $1,000. The $2,890 Premium package for the SR and SR Turbo adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar, leather-appointed seats and a premium Bose eight-speaker sound system.
