Despite being a convertible, the AMG GT R is a serious performance machine, yet it can be used daily in relative comfort thanks to standard adaptive dampers on adjustable coil-over suspension. The roof can be raised and lowered in around 11 seconds, and multiple drive modes allow for fine-tuning of the suspension and steering, as well as the exhaust and throttle, thus allowing one to switch between comfort and race applications with ease. Among the more common features included are navigation, active high beams, and a voice-controlled infotainment system displayed on a 10.25-inch screen.
