For 2019, Lincoln restyled and upgraded the MKX, and in the process renamed it the Nautilus. New styling goes along with new drivetrains too – the old 3.7-liter V6 is replaced by an EcoBoost 2.0-liter 4-cylinder developing 245 horsepower. The range-topping EcoBoost 2.7-liter turbo V6 remains, with 335hp on tap; though both engine options now feature a standard 8-speed automatic transmission mated to front-wheel drive. The Black Label trim offers premium interior materials from three themes, special badging, and a series of “membership privileges” including access to specific restaurants – though the three standard trims on offer are Base, Select, and Reserve. The Cadillac XT5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC are the Nautilus’s chief rivals, with the Nautilus priced between $40,340 and $59,390.
