Instead of overloading the 2022 Honda Civic Si Sedan with gimmicky features and unnecessary power, the company has produced a beautifully balanced sedan. The 200-hp engine is powerful enough yet also economical, and it's paired with a slick six-speed manual. The cabin comes with a modern infotainment system highlighted by a nine-inch touchscreen, and the layout and quality are exemplary. Honda has focused on essentials like automatic climate control and a clear driver information display.
Safety has not been compromised in any way. The Si gets adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure warning as standard. There aren't many options although a sporty HPD package for the exterior is on offer, as are summer performance tires in HPT specification.
The Civic Si is mostly a case of what you see is what you get. Upgrades are few and far between, although the car can be equipped with the HPD package for $1,112. This adds HPD underbody spoilers and an HPD emblem. Illuminated door sill trim adds $306 and there are a few other accessories like all-season floor mats, a trunk tray, and a moonroof visor.
