Car Mod Atrocities: Mansory's Worst Lamborghini Urus Yet

The Venatus kit includes a new vented hood and a new bumper with an aggressive spoiler, flics, and canards. The front fenders have been replaced too, and the side skirts have been added to. The rear gets a redesigned bumper with a wild diffuser, a centrally mounted triple-exit triangular exhaust finisher, and more spoilers. To frame those wheels better, the car sits lower to the ground, and every element of the car - from the wheel arches to the side skirts and the mirrors - is painted in the same lurid bronze hue. Even the window surrounds are now bronzed. It's a sensory overload, and things are only slightly less extreme (read: nausea-inducing) inside.

The steering wheel gets carbon fiber and a noon marker in white, and almost every surface is trimmed in blank leather. Black accent stitching, seat inserts, and seatbelt branding add a bit of contrast, while dashes of carbon fiber try to give this beast a sportier persona, but the result is simply unsavory.

Justifying all this attention-seeking "styling" is the fact that the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has been boosted to 887 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque, which the tuner says is enough for a 0-62 mph time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of just over 200 mph.

At least that means it shouldn't remain in your gaze for long. Could it be worse? Unfortunately, yes. The tuner will turn this Italian SUVinto a repugnant coupeif you want. We hope you don't.
