The BMW M3 CS sits alone at the top of the M3 hierarchy, a limited edition model built to mark the end of the F80 generation. A model-specific color palette boasts unique hues like San Marino Blue, Lime Rock Grey, and Frozen Dark Blue II, while staggered fitment 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires for additional grip. The CS has shed weight with a carbon fiber hood, roof, and trunk lid, while beneath the surface there are changes, too. Power is up to 453 horsepower and torque to 443 lb-ft, sent to the rear wheels exclusively through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The adaptive M differential has been retuned, as has the electric power steering and the various driving modes, which gives the CS a unique feel. Inside, the M3 CS gets a unique Black/Silverstone combination finish upholstery, with Alcantara dash and door trim boasting the CS insignia. Just 1,200 units are being built worldwide, with only 550 making their way to the US.
