Zenvo's all-new Aurora is gunning for hypercar royalty.

Zenvo is continuing to drum up excitement for itsupcoming hybrid V12 Aurora hypercar, and today it released details of its state-of-the-art single composite platform that's being created with the help of the Spanish firm Managing Composites.

Incorporating F1-level structural safety, including a composite crash structure, the monocoque will be incorporated into the visible design of the hypercar and is poised to shake up the hypercar world.

Not to mention the company is boasting insane rigidity numbers for the monocoque and front/rear subframes of 63,000 Nm/deg (Newton meter per degree) while weighing under 120kg (265 pounds) and rigidity of 75,000 Nm/deg while weighing under 64kg (141 lbs) without the subframes included.

This means it has more torsional rigidity than a Bugatti Chiron, which only boasts 50,000 Nm/deg but slightly less than theKoenigsegg Jeskowith its absurd 65,000 Nm/deg. Talk about keeping great company.

Managing Composites has been working in the super and hypercar industries for the past 15 years, designing and engineering composite parts for the aerospace, marine, architecture, and sports industries. As such, it will spearhead the development of the new carbon fiber platform and then transition to a safety role utilizing its expertise in crash and structural simulation to incorporate F1 technology.

With expertise and rigidity numbers like these, we imagine the hypercar will be able to utilize every bit of the 1,850 horsepower the vehicle's 6.6-liter quad-turbo hybrid V12 powertrain produces.

Called the Mjolner V12, this bespoke unit is being created with the help of Mahle and promises insane performance thanks to a 9,800 rpm redline and a projected top speed of 248 mph.

Finally, since the monocoque will be incorporated into the design, Managing Composites also has a pivotal role in designing body panels and trims, ensuring lightweight and aerodynamic efficiency wherever possible while delivering stunning looks.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Managing Composites for the all-new Aurora," said Jens Sverdrup, chief commercial officer and chairman of the board at Zenvo Automotive. "Their reputation as a leading authority in composites engineering, coupled with their extensive experience in simulation and manufacturing, perfectly aligns with our vision for the future of Zenvo. Together, we will set new benchmarks for performance, design, and safety with the Aurora."

The hypercar is set to debut on August 18th, and we're excited to see all of these parts finally come together.

Maybe we'll have a new contender forthe fastest car in the world.
