Chevy Is Desperate To Sell 2020 Suburbans

The proof is an awesome discount.

The all-new2021 Chevrolet Suburbanis just about to arrive in dealerships and it'll no doubt be a solid success. Despite its large size, the three-row, off-road-ready Suburban packs a standard V8 engine or an optional diesel, for a very reasonable starting price tag of just under $52,000. Of course, moving up to the very top of the trim levels requires $75,000 or so of your hard-earned money but, again, Chevy knows there'll be no shortage of customers.

But there are always some new vehicle shoppers out there who could care less about having the latest generation model parked in their garage; they just want a good deal on a brand new car.

For Suburban shoppers who would be perfectly happy driving home a 2020 model, then you're in luck. CarsDirect has learned Chevy is now offering up to $6,250 off MSRP for those still unsold 2020 models. Not surprisingly, this is a significantly higher discount compared to last January when the automaker offered up to$4,000 in discounts.但有趣的是,这个新的折扣didn't go even higher.

For example, just over one year ago Chevy made it possible for Suburban shoppers to receivenearly $10,000 in savings, though that included a $3,000 loyalty discount.

It's not clear whether this latest discount formula also has a loyalty bonus cooked in, but you're not likely to see a better offer for the outgoing generation. Why? Because nationwide inventory is nearly sold out. Still, those who do manage to find one could very easily get a brand new 2020 Suburban with V8 power for under $50k.

If they don't mind not having all of the latest technology and luxury features and various other bells and whistles, it's hard to argue this isn't a good deal. But again, now is the time to act.
