2023 WRX Sedan Interior

这样一个强烈关注性能和handling prowess, it shouldn't be too surprising that the interior of the Subaru WRX doesn't get as much TLC as it could. There is plenty of hard plastic on display, and the standard features are quite sparse. For example, you only get a seven-inch multimedia display, and comforts are extremely limited. On the plus side, this means the dashboard isn't cluttered and that the controls are usually quite easy to access. There is also a decent amount of interior space and seating for up to five passengers

Seating and Interior Space

Though it was clearly built with the driver in mind, the Subaru WRX gets five seats and enough space inside the cabin to house adults in the back seats, though not for too long. This is because the second-row positions only get 36.7 inches of headroom and 36.5 inches of legroom. Six-footers won't want to be stuck back there for anything longer than a quick jaunt. The front seats are far better suited to such individuals, with 39.8 inches of headroom and 43.1 inches of legroom. Models with a sunroof lose one inch of headroom in the front, while the GT installs more supportive Recaro sport seats. Overall visibility is good, but finding a comfortable position is easier on the upper trims that get a power-adjustable driver's seat and front seat heating.

室内Colors and Materials

The materials used throughout the cabin are meant to be hardwearing rather than luxurious or attractive, with cloth being the only option for the base trim. The Premium upgrades to premium cloth, unsurprisingly, while the Limited and GT get ultrasuede. Sadly, the interior color choices for the Subaru WRX are limited entirely to black, regardless of material. The dash and door panels feature a lot more plastic than we'd like, even at such a low price point, but we can't complain about the build quality.

2023 WRX Sedan Trunk and Cargo Space

Another area where we aren't overly impressed is the cargo space of the Subaru WRX. It supplies a mere 12.5 cubic feet, which is enough for a couple of suitcases or some light grocery shopping. Luckily, you can fold the rear seats down in a 60/40 split to make room for some larger items, but it doesn't add all that much to the trunk volume. Small-item storage is a little more in line with the segment norm, though. The door pockets are quite spacious, and each one is fitted with a bottle holder; there is a cubby inside the center armrest for larger items. The glove compartment can also stow such things. For smaller knick-knacks, there are two cupholders in front of the armrest and another two in the fold-down armrest in the back row.

2023 WRX Sedan Infotainment and Features

Features

The standard features list is a bit sparse for a car in this particular segment. The base model gets a six-way manual driver's seat, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The safety suite is particularly unimpressive, with just a rearview camera coming standard. Upgrading to the Premium only adds comforts like heated front seats and dual-zone climate control, while the Limited adds a ten-way power driver's seat and bolsters the weak safety systems with lane change assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. You also get a power moonroof. At the top of the range, the GT revers to an eight-way power driver's seat but also gets adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and both pre-collision and reverse automatic braking.

Infotainment

You only get a seven-inch multimedia display with the Base trim, but it supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD Radio, and SiriusXM. It also comes with six speakers and two front USB ports. From the Premium upwards, a larger 11.6 display is standard, but navigation and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon sound system are only added when you move to the Limited. On the plus side, the simplicity of the infotainment makes it easy to operate.
