The Mini Cooper Clubman is available in four trim levels: Cooper, Cooper ALL4, Cooper S, and Cooper S ALL4. The standard Cooper models get a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine developing 134 hp and 162 lb-ft. This can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and paired to either a front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrain. The Cooper S gets a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that develops 189 hp and 207 lb-ft. It gets the same drivetrain and transmission options, except its automatic transmission gets eight gears.
Standard features across the range include automatic headlights, fog lights, manual air conditioning, leatherette upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The safety suite comprises only a rearview camera and rear parking sensors, while the infotainment suite consists of a 6.5-inch display, AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system.
Available features include leather upholstery, heated front seats, eight-way sports front seats, dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and forward collision avoidance.
You only get the basics when you purchase a Cooper Clubman, but like many BMW-brand vehicles, there are a number of packages available to customize your purchase. One of the more popular options for the tech-savvy will be the Touchscreen Navigation Package for the Signature, which adds a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen interface, built-in navigation, and Apple CarPlay. The standard safety features on the upper sub-trims can be supplemented with the Driver Assistance Package, adding front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, a parking assistant, and a head-up display. The mid-tier Signature sub-trim can be upgraded to match the interior of the Iconic via the Signature Upholstery Package, swapping out the standard upholstery for genuine leather.
