The ALL4 drivetrain doesn’t do anything to improve the driving experience on the Clubman. In fact, it actually slows the Mini down a bit, with about half a second lost on the 0-60 mph sprint. But, if you live in an area that warrants the extra traction and road control, then we would suggest opting for the eight-speed automatic transmission. Aside from alleviating some of the stress of driving on difficult roads, it also offers better fuel economy than the six-speed manual gearbox. The ALL4 all-wheel drivetrain is able to perfectly split power between the front and rear wheels in a 50:50 ratio, improving handling significantly. For those in cold-climate regions, automatic climate control and heated front seats come standard, but the plusher leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats might be nice when your hands are chilly. The LED headlights and fog lights might also be desirable during heavy rain or snow.
