The Sprinter Passenger Van is not just any run-of-the-mill passenger vehicle; it's a first-rate cruiser and full lounge suite on wheels. Its premium-feel is what separates it from the competition in the USA - the biggest opposition being the Ford Transit, which still manages to compare admirably. Propping the Sprinter van up even more, however, is the phenomenal performance from the available diesel-fuel-powered V6, which is peppy off-the-line, smooth, and efficient. As with most vans, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter hasn't undergone review for its crashworthiness, but its makers penchant for reliability and its lengthy consignment of inclusive and optional driver assists and safety features would likely earn it a top safety rating.
Furthermore, while 3-door vans are typically offered only in front-wheel drive, the Sprinter is equipped with a rear-wheel drive setup and has access to an exclusive 4x4 one. The Sprinter can feel quite unwieldy on the road and the rearmost passengers may have to grip the seats every now and again, but it remains one of the most luxurious and capable passenger vans money can buy.
