The Mercedes S-Class Coupe is offered in only one derivative, the S 560 4Matic Coupe. It is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 gas engine developing 463 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The engine is connected to the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

As standard, the S 560 Coupe runs on 19-inch alloys and features all-LED exterior lighting as standard. Included in the interior spec are heated, ventilated, and massaging active multi-contour front seats covered in Nappa leather, a 12-way electrically adjustable driver's seat (with memory), dual-zone climate control, keyless access and go, 64-color ambient lighting, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The infotainment system comprises a 12.3-inch COMAND touchscreen with touchpad and voice controls, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, and HD Radio, navigation, and a 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound system. Safety features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot assist.
