The Series II is only slightly more expensive in 4x2 guise, and for that, you get 20-inch alloy wheels with black noise pockets, a load-leveling rear suspension, heated second-row seats, and a head-up display. When you upgrade to 4x4, Jeep includes the Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system. It has the same setup as the full-time 4WD system but adds a two-speed transfer case with low-range and a limited-slip differential on the rear axle. This is the model to go for if you intend to do some serious off-roading.
