There are five trims that comprise the Envision lineup, the 1SV, Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Premium II. The first three trims are equipped with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine that’s mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, a front-wheel drivetrain is standard, with an all-wheel drivetrain optional for the Preferred and Essence only. The Premium and Premium II are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that’s coupled to a nine-speed automatic gearbox that services an AWD system by default.
Every Envision trim is rich with features as standard, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control coming in as of the base trims. Upgrading to higher-tier trims sees the addition of features such as a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, and even tri-zone automatic climate control, while the top-of-the-line trim brings in a head-up display, front-seat ventilation, and automatic parking assist.
Optional packages are few and far between for the Envision lineup, though there are a few worth mentioning.
Moving away from the 1SV trim to the Preferred sees the availability of the Interior Luxury Package, which, for $565, throws in illuminated front door sill plates and premium carpeted floor mats. A $695 Active Package equips the Envision with a trailer hitch for a 1,500 lbs capacity, with a wiring harness, and with an integrated cargo liner.
For the Essence trim, there's a $1,995 Buick Experience Package which equips the Essence with 19-inch bright alloy wheels with silver painted pockets, with a panoramic power moonroof, and with an onboard navigation system.
The onboard GPS navigation system is available for the Essence as a standalone option for $495.
There's a Driver Confidence Package available for the Premium II trim which for $1,545 throws in advanced adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, and enhanced automatic emergency braking.
