Listen to the V10-powered Toyota GR Supra scream.

The last-generation A80 Toyota Supra was one of the most popular tuner cars ever made, and the new A90 GR Supra is continuing this tradition. Like its predecessor, the new GR Supra is easy to modify, resulting in someepic aftermarket buildsthat take the Japanese sports car to the next level.

Famous for hisFerrari-powered Toyota 86, Formula Drift star Ryan Tuerck is working on one of the most extremeToyota GR Suprabuilds yet. Replacing the GR Supra's turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six is a Judd 4.0-liter V10 from a Formula 1 car. The result is the aptly-namedFormulaSupra, which made its public debut at this year's SEMA show.

Following itsfirst dyno test last month, we finally get to see the FormulaSupra hit the track, and it was worth the wait. For the car's first shakedown, Tuerck took the FormulaSupra to Willow Springs Raceway, where we get to hear its F1-sourced V10 scream its lungs out.

被推到limits, the V10-powered FormulaSupra is ear-splittingly loud. It sounds sensational. Out on the track, Tuerck is driving on the limit and gets sideways around Willow Springs' sweeping corners but keeps it under control, praising the car's handling. "The car is super smooth, like beyond smooth," Tuerck said.

Whereas the regular Toyota GR Supra produces 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque from a 3.0-liter turbo-six, the modified FormulaSupra's V10 generates 750 hp and weighs around the same as the stock engine. After lapping the Willow Springs Raceway, Tuerck wasted no time taking the FormulaSupra to a skid pan to see how it drifts and burn some rubber.

During testing, the alternator belt came off the pulley and can be seen dangling underneath the car, but this issue has already been fixed. With the first track test now complete, the FormulaSupra will star in a new action-packed video showing off what it can do, so watch this space.
