At the TMMC, workers use the exoskeleton, a wearable and lightweight technology designed to improve the upper extremity. The exoskeleton transfers the weight of the arms from the shoulders, neck, and upper back to the outside of the hips, evenly distributing energy to reduce stress and fatigue. Ford has also been using theexoskeleton techto help lower worker fatigue.

The folks at TMMC also ensure that the freshly-built RAV4 units pass quality standards by conducting performance and structural stability tests.

In the US, Toyota produces the RAV4 at its manufacturing plant in Kentucky. The automaker is investing heavily in this facility, which will also make its newthree-row electric SUV.
