Time Is Running Out To Buy A Bugatti Chiron

It's hard to believe that theBugatti Chironlaunched way back in 2016. A replacement for the Veyron, the Chiron rewrote the hypercar rule book, smashing several speed records. Since it launched, the Chiron became the first road car to break the 300-mph barrier andset a new 0-249-0 mph world record我n 41.96 seconds. Bugatti has also expanded the Chiron family with new variants such as the track-focusedChiron Pur Sport, but all good things must come to an end.

With a planned production run of 500 units, the Chiron is approaching the end of its lifecycle five years after it debuted. Following high demand in Q3 2021, Bugatti has announced the Chiron is entering the final phase of production.

Bugatti is still accepting orders for the Chiron Pur Sport and Super Sport, but there are now less than 40 build slots available. So if you are hoping to be on the buyer's list, time is running out. Meanwhile, the final Chiron and Chiron Sport customer cars are either being assembled or scheduled for production.

After the Chiron debuted in Geneva in 2016, the first customer cars were delivered in March 2017. Just over a year later, the 100th customer car was delivered in the Middle East in May 2018. The 250th Chiron then rolled off the production line in February 2020, followed by the300th customer car我n March 2021.

According to Bugatti, Chiron sales have been particularly strong in the US, which is Bugatti's strongest market. This helped Bugatti achieve record-breaking sales in Q3 2021, with year-on-year sales doubling and even tripling in some markets, despite challenges created by the pandemic and global semi-conductor chip shortage.
