Bugatti Unveils 300th Chiron Hypercar

In a five-day workweek, Chevrolet's Bowling Green plant is capable of producing over 900 Corvette C8s - at least, that's when pandemics,production shutdowns, and strikes aren't disrupting progress. That's a lot of mid-engined sports cars in a short space of time, but over at Bugatti, the rate of production is comparatively glacial. This is no surprise when one considers the depth of engineering and customization potential of each Bugatti.

It's why the French automaker is celebrating the milestone of having produced its 300thChiron- one of 500 planned - since the hypercar started production in Molsheim, France, in 2016. This 300th Chiron, aPur Sportmodel, was built to the exact specifications of its lucky owner, who chose Nocturne as the primary exterior color.

Details like the horseshoe grille, exterior mirror housings, and rear wing contrast with this dark shade nicely, as they're all finished in Grey Carbon. A Gun Powder finish for the C-line and taillight bezels complete the aggressive, stealthy look.

Inside, the Pur Sport Interior Package was specced with Beluga Black leather and Alcantara seats. These seats have contrasting seams in Gris Rafale. Other than that, the only real splash of color comes from the red starter button. The optional Sky View roof is fitted. Overall, this dark and moody Chiron is the polar opposite of the more feminineChiron Sport named 'Alice'and showcases the breadth of the brand's customization program.
