Only 3 Koenigseggs In The World Have This $440K Option

And seeing them in one place is something you'll probably never witness again.

With million-dollar price tags and only around a hundred units produced per model, Koenigsegg hypercars are rare. But which among the few Koenigseggs in the world are the most unique?

Meet these three dark-themed beauties: the KoenigseggJesko, Regera, and One:1 - endearingly referred to as the "Holy Trinity of Koenigseggs."

What sets these three Eggs apart from the rest of the niche automaker's range is the exclusive option called Koenigsegg Naked Carbon (KNC). As the name suggests, these three vehicles - which met to pose for a family pictorial with Swedish photographer Blerim Rafuna - have bodies finished out of completely exposed carbon fiber.

According to the automaker, only three existing Koenigseggs have this type of finish, making them the rarest breed of the Swedish marque's hypercars. We're not surprised; not everyone has $443,400 for an option added to the vehicle's million-dollar price tag.

That's the price of the optional finish in the Jesko three years ago; we're not sure of its current value asonly Koenigsegg buyers like Manny Khoshbincan access the automaker's advanced online configurator.

While Koenigsegg hypercars have carbon fiber bodies, most have paints coated over the weaved bodywork or at least varnished with layers of clear lacquer. KNC, however, is devoid of these coatings.

In fact, Koenigsegg even removes the epoxy used in producing the lightweight body panels by hand, exposing the weave of carbon fiber strands completely for a one-of-a-kind finish. And that's the reason for the option's astronomical price tag.

Thefirst Koenigsegg to receive this treatmentwas the Regera in 2018, which stood alongside the new Jesko at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The boutique car maker even touts it as the first of its kind, and of course, it's present in the family pictorial featured here, along with the Jesko and theuber-limitedOne:1.

It appears all three examples of the KNC-finished hypercars are owned byCarage卢塞恩, the Swiss arm of the hypercar dealer that is an official distributor of Koenigsegg's machinery in Switzerland. The Koenigsegg Jesko Attack is chassis #7286, the One:1 is chassis #7107, and the Regera is chassis #7209.

These three cars are already special, but the One:1 is even more so, as it was the One:1 thatcrashed at the Nurburgringin 2016, reportedly while attempting a new lap record. Koenigsegg confirmed its rebuild and ownership by Carage on social media.
