Mopar Heads To SEMA 2022 With New Ram 1500 And Jeep Wrangler Concepts

This year's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show was beginning to look in danger of being a poorly attended event with little in the way of manufacturer support. Honda, Ford, Hyundai, and GM have allpulled out of this year's extravaganza. Thankfully, Stellantis is not following their lead. Mopar has always had some fantastic concepts for us at SEMA, from muscle carsto off-roaders,球队甚至给了公众opportunity to design its buildfor the 2020 show. This year, Mopar is bringing three new concepts to the table, and each of them looks like it's focused on conquering the demands of a rugged lifestyle.

These teasers are only presented as shadowy design sketches, but it's clear that the first one is based on theRam 1500. We're certain that this will not be the electric pickup concept that Ram is working on, as that car will only be revealedjust before the LA Auto Show. This sketch also shows a far more traditional design, so we expect either some sort of Overlanding build or some sort of fresh take on the indomitable TRX.

The second teaser is a little more revealing. Here we see the fender of either an electric/hybridWrangleror an electric/hybrid Gladiator, as evidenced by the slightly cheesy Surge name.
