Awesome Mopar Concept Trucks Coming To SEMA 2019

As the2019 SEMA showsteadily rolls towards us, Mopar is giving us a preview of three of 14 customized vehicles it'll be displaying at the show. Top of the bill is theRam 1500 RebelOTG (Off The Grid) Concept. Overlanding is becoming big business, and exploration needs more than pure off-roading prowess. As well as a bed rack system and a collapsible rooftop tent accessible from a stowed ladder, there's also a retractable battery-powered cooler and kitchen unit, an onboard water system, and solar power, so days of traveling can stretch out into weeks if need be.

Being able to get in and out of those usually inaccessible locations, of course, requires off-road prowess. To that end, the Ram 1500 Rebel OTG is kitted out with plenty of extra gear. An integrated front-bumper winch will get the concept out of trouble along with traction mats and a high-lift jack. Additional lighting comes in the form of LED off-road driving lamps on the front, and backup lamps are built into the rear bumper. It's also equipped with a snorkel air intake, step assist rock rails, and a concept rear bumper that improves the truck's departure angle by relocating the exhaust.
