Mansory's Aston Martin DBX Is Another Surprise Winner

Tuning /11 Comments

Mansory has been putting out a few decent body kits, and this one is not too bad, either.

Aftermarket tuner Mansory has often seared our eyeballs withsickeningly styled body kits, but thisAston Martin DBXmodified by the outfit proves that it isn't always aesthetically insensitive. We're not saying that the DBX has been made prettier by the new upgrades, but we are saying that it could have been a lot worse, as evidenced by theforged carbon DBX kitit revealed earlier this year.

The new build was shared by Wheels Boutique and shows a lowered DBX fitted with new wheels, heavily tinted windows, and a full chrome delete for the brightwork (changing to gloss black). But the real attention-grabber is certainly the bodywork.

The front bumper features an aggressive new lower section made of carbon fiber, with the same treatment being applied to the side skirts and the large rear diffuser, which now sites two exhaust tips centrally.

20-inch Anrky AN20 Series II wheels fill the arches, and it appears that the suspension has been lowered too. The cabin has not been shown, so it's safe to assume that Mansory has not butchered that element of the car, and besides the accents added to the lower sides of the front bumper, the overall look is not totally offensive.

We assume the engine has been left untouched too.

After seeing this kit and others from Mansory, we're beginning to wonder if the tuner is changing its opinion of what is pleasing to look at. Last month, the tunerfailed to completely butcher a Bentley, and more recently, a Rolls-Royce Ghost was given some upgrades thatdid not look completely out of place.

当然,这可能只是暂时在正常爵士vice because Mansory still manages to churn out other kits that are designed expressly to grab attention, and not in good ways. Regardless, it seems there is no shortage of wealthy luxury car owners who want something different.

At least in the case of this DBX, something different is not something downright disgusting.
